A woman has died after being involved in a collision with a car on a pedestrian crossing. The incident happened outside the Spring Gardens car park in Tewkesbury on Sunday, December 15.
The crash involved a woman aged in her 50s and a black Ford Kuga Zetec car. It took place on a pedestrian crossing outside the car park on Oldbury Road at about 2.25pm.
The woman was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital where she was treated for her injuries. She died eight days later.
No-one has been arrested in connection with the incident at this time, Gloucestershire police said. Officers investigating the collision are continuing their inquiries and have reviewed CCTV footage from around the time of the incident.
They are now asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has dashcam footage and has not yet spoken to police, to come forward. A police spokesperson said: “Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Tewkesbury earlier this month following the death of a woman from the town.”
