Who is still eating Christmas leftovers? I’m sure we’re not the only household across Merseyside who still have enough Christmas Day food to feed a small army in our fridge.
Like me, by now many people will have run out of ideas for different ways to enjoy the Christmas leftovers. Well, as time runs out Aldi have thankfully shared their recipe to enjoy those leftovers and it’s a healthy salad dish for those wanting to finish 2024 properly and start the new year off right.
The discount retailer has shared a recipe on its Instagram for Christmas leftovers potato salad and it looks delicious. Some shoppers have already called the dish their “new favourite.”
In a video on its Instagram Aldi shared the method, which uses its flavoured sage and onion stuffing mayonnaise, that shoppers have gone ‘mad’ for. You simply add the mayonnaise to a dish with some bacon lardons, leftover sprouts, pomegranates and of course, left over roast potatoes. To serve you mix it all together and voila.
