Interactive map shows every crime reported to police in Birmingham city centre

A new interactive map has revealed the locations where crimes took place across the city centre. The streets with the most reported offences were also detailed as part of analysis of the latest police.uk data.

The most recent stats, which are from October, show the heart of the city was rocked by 1,357 crimes across the month. One of the streets with the highest number of crimes was the High Street, which was struck by 90 offences, including 50 shoplifting crimes.

Three people were also robbed on the High Street during the month, ten were victims of violent or sexual offences and five more reported criminal damage or arson. Other hotspot roads included Hurst Street, Moor Street and Worcester Street, according to the figures.
