Whether it’s a sit-down curry meal or a chippy tea you’re looking for, Bromley has had its fair share of award-winning restaurants that celebrated success in 2024.
This year The Bombay in Orpington celebrated multiple successes, while iNaga in West Wickham celebrated winning a national curry award for another year running.
Here are all this year’s Bromley restaurant winners and why they won:
The Bombay, Orpington
This year, The Bombay – a family-run Orpington restaurant of 40 years – celebrated winning three awards in 2024.
The Bombay won the Editor’s Choice for the South East award in the Curry Life Awards 2024, Best Restaurant in South East England at the Bangladesh Caterers Awards, and Casual Dining Restaurant of The Year, London Suburbs at the Asian Curry Awards 2024.

The restaurant run by brothers Kobir, Shah and Mj Hussain serves traditional Indian fare, with three dining spaces including a jungle-inspired dining area and an event space for parties.
After 40 years of success in Orpington, the business is also set to expand with a new restaurant opening in Swanley for 2025.
Chatsworth Bakehouse, Crystal Palace
Chatsworth Bakehouse is a popular bakery that first opened in 2021 serving a range of pizzas, pastries and baked goods.
The business was recognised for its pizzas when it was named in The Times Top Pizza Places in the UK for 2024, on account of its popular Grandma Slices with toppings like hot honey, pepperoni and burrata.
Crispy Cod, Orpington
Known for its classic fish and chips, the Crispy Cod in Orpington won a Blue Ribbon for Fish and Chips at the Good Food Awards 2024.
Crispy Cod was awarded for its consistently high ratings and customer votes.

iNaga, West Wickham
iNaga in West Wickham celebrated winning Asian Restaurant of the Year, London Suburbs at the Asian Curry Awards, marking the second year running the business has won at the awards.

The food, prepared by chef Nanu Miah offers traditional Bangladeshi fare along with a selection of wines, spirits and beers from their bar.
