Kate Garraway was over the moon as she revealed a “bucket list moment” from her recent festive adventures.
On Thursday’s (January 20) Good Morning Britain, the presenter was quizzed by co-host Adil Ray over what she had been up to lately. Viewers didn’t have to wait long before Adil shared that Kate graced the famous London Palladium stage to feature in the pantomime Robin Hood.
Beaming with joy, Kate described her cameo appearance as King Richard. She said: “I’ve never done anything like this before, this is a bucket list moment.
“I got invited by The London Palladium no less, you know that amazing pantomime with Julian Clary in? I played the Palladium!
“I was King Richard, it wasn’t a huge role I have to say. But, they don’t tell the audience who is coming on as King Richard you see.
“So you have this awful feeling they’re really hoping it’s someone good!” ITV viewers were then treated to a snippet of Kate on stage being carried on.

Kate continued: “I got a laugh! It was so amazing, just did two shows. I don’t know who is going to be on tonight but it’s always good.”
Although it wasn’t just Kate who has been busy away from Good Morning Britain, after viewers got to see the host in action, Adil told Kate he’d joined her ‘other employer’. Confused, Adil shared he’s becoming part of Smooth Radio for a while as a guest presenter, the Mirror reports.
The ITV star hosted his first show on December 29, with his other three set to air on Saturday January 4 and Sunday January 5. Speaking about his guest slot, Adil told the station: “I cannot wait to get back to the best job in the world! Radio!
“And to be joining Smooth when they’re absolutely flying. I will now be singing along to the Smooth playlist not only in my car but in the studio too! I hope you’ll join me. Bring your dancing shoes!”
