London Tube closures January 3 – 5: Full TfL closure list

As with most weekends, some stations will be closed or partly closed for TfL to carry out essential work.

We’ve broken down a list of all the work on the London Underground, Overground and Elizabeth Line this weekend to ensure you don’t get caught out and can plan ahead.

To get the most up-to-date stats for the Underground, you can use the TfL app or website. 

Friday, January 3:

Lioness: Changes to Euston to Watford Junction services On Friday 3 January, the 0529 train from Watford Junction to Euston will start from Willesden Junction at 0604.

Mildmay Line: Friday 3 January, until 0615, no service southbound from Willesden Junction to Shepherds Bush until 0615. The 0552 first train from Willesden Junction to Clapham Junction starts from Shepherds Bush at 0600 and the 0608 second train from Willesden Junction to Clapham Junction does not run.

Piccadilly:  No service between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge due a shortage of Piccadilly line trains while fix damage caused by leaf fall. Please use the Metropolitan line to complete your journey.

Suffragette: Changes to Barking Riverside to Gospel Oak services on Friday 3 January: Trains at 0548 from Barking Riverside to Gospel Oak and 0624 from Gospel Oak to Barking Riverside will not run.

Saturday, January 4:

Piccadilly:  Saturday 4, from 0300, and all day Sunday 5 January (including Friday and Saturday Night Tube), no service between Kings Cross St Pancras and Cockfosters. Replacement buses operate.

No service between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge due a shortage of Piccadilly line trains while fix damage caused by leaf fall. Please use the Metropolitan line to complete your journey.

Saturday 4 January, from 0100 until 0300, no service between Hyde Park Corner and Cockfosters. 

Sunday, January 5:

Elizabeth Line: Sunday 5 January, until 1130, no service between Maidenhead and Reading. Replacement bus service W3 operates between Maidenhead, Twyford and Reading.

Sunday 5 January, a reduced service will operate between Hayes & Harlington and Maidenhead (except at Iver and Taplow). Two trains an hour will serve West Drayton, Langley, Slough, Burnham and Maidenhead.

Mildmay:  Sunday 5 January, until 0930, no service between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction. SOUTHERN services will also not operate between Watford Junction and Clapham Junction at this time.

 Sunday 5 January, no service between Richmond and Willesden Junction.
