Jamie Webster was flooded with support as he opened up on his “toughest” year yet. The singer-songwriter had a busy 2024 as he released his third album, 10 For The People, in March and performed at festivals across the UK.

This included Glastonbury in June, which marked his third successive year performing at Worthy Farm. Jamie’s biggest live show yet took place over the summer in Sefton Park where over 3,000 people watched him perform at In The Park, with a star-studded cast of extras including Ricky Tomlinson, Dave McCabe from the Zutons and Ian McCulloch of Echo and the Bunnymen.

He also married his long-term partner Rachael in a ceremony abroad. In a post on X/Twitter and Instagram, Jamie admitted there had been highs and lows in the past year as he thanked his fans for their constant support.

Jamie shared a black and white picture of his wedding with Rachael along with several from his packed-out gigs throughout the year. In the caption, he said: “2024. Probably the toughest yet most rewarding year I’ve lived so far. Marrying my best mate. Playing my biggest headline show to date in our city to 30,000 people.

“My third studio album (in four years) achieving my highest UK album chart position at number two. Another solid year on Spotify. Going on my first ever mini world tour including playing Australia for the first time and playing two arenas outside of Liverpool for the first time.

“Thank you to my unbelievable musicians & band, crew, management, label and everyone else on my team. Also my wife, family and friends for being there for me through all the ups and downs behind the scenes.

“And last but not least, thank you to everyone out there who supports me year after year, giving me the platform to live my dream and spreading the message far and wide. I’d be nothing without you all. Best fans in the world.

“Here’s to a bigger and better 2025. Have a boss time bringing in the new year, I wish you all the best in what’s to come. As always, look after yourselves and each other.”
