Emmerdale’s Ruby Fox-Milligan, played by Beth Cordingly, has been on tenterhooks since her father Anthony Fox, portrayed by Nicholas Day, arrived in the village. A special episode aired a few weeks ago revealed why Ruby is so terrified of her father through flashbacks.
The storyline unfolded to reveal that Anthony had sexually abused Ruby during her teenage years. Despite this dark secret, Anthony has managed to integrate himself into the family, charming everyone including Ruby’s husband Caleb Milligan, played by William Ash.
However, upcoming scenes show Ruby secretly conducting a DNA test for her daughter Steph Milligan, played by Georgia Jay, and confiding in Chas Dingle, played by Lucy Pargeter, about her suspicions. Meanwhile, Cain Dingle, played by Jeff Hordley, is uneasy about Anthony’s plans to settle in the village due to his knowledge of Anthony’s affair with Ruby.
