Ant and Dec returned to our TV screens on Saturday night as their quiz show Limitless Win came back for a new series. The popular ITV series challenges two contestants to work together by answering questions that only have numbers as the answer.
They must use a dial to register their guess, attempting to get as close to the correct answer as possible without going over. They move up the ladder a number of steps equal to their guess, and lose lives to match the error between the guess and the correct answer.
Launched in 2022, the show claims to be the first with a “limitless” jackpot, where contestants could win “millions upon millions of pounds”. But viewers were baffled by an early question for in-laws Joe and Jo, who were hoping to go on a big family hliday with their winnings.

Whiley they breezed through their first question, the second had them stumped – along with viewers at home. The question was: “According to its product specification, a ‘Welsh Leek’ has a minimum total length of how many centimetres.”
Viewers at home were bamboozled, with many saying they had never heard of a Welsh Leek. They took to X, formerly Twitter, to comment on the tricky question, with one writing: “#LimitlessWin two questions that you could know after the leak question that almost nobody would know.”
“Never heard of a Welsh Leek interesting question,” another said, while a third added: “What on earth is a Welsh leek??”
But can you answer it? Joe argued it was ‘at least 20cm’, while his sister in-law wanted to ‘dial it down’ despite Joe actually wanting to go even higher. As they quibbled, they finally locked in 20cm.
Ant and Dec revealed they had not answered correctly, and shared the correct answer for viewers at home. Ant said: “The exact answer is 28cm.”
Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win returns next Saturday night on ITV1.
