Lily Allen’s clever method to ‘catch husband David Harbour looking for women online’

Lily Allen was struck by a bout of “agony” after discovering hubby David Harbour might have been swiping right behind her back on a covert dating app, despite their celeb status. Reports are swirling that Lily, rather than seeking love, engaged in an undercover sting operation on Raya – an exclusive app well-known for catering to the glitterati looking to date within their circles – as part of a fact-finding mission regarding rumours about David’s secret liaisons.

The famous pair had originally connected through this very app back in 2019 and ditched their profiles post-cupid’s arrow. Yet whispers persisted that David couldn’t resist its allure and went online once more.

Reports have claimed that Lily channelled her inner detective by trawling through Raya for potential female matches and then played connect-the-dots with the ladies followed by David on his not-so-private Instagram account. “Lily was looking for women that were on Raya and cross-referencing them with women David follows on Instagram to try to figure out who he was seeing. She was doing her Wagatha thing,” said a source.

Wagatha soon became the buzzword when Coleen Rooney, the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! sensation, wielded her own social media as a trap to expose a mole leaking stories. Coleen cleverly played a game of Instagram Stories hide-and-seek to pinpoint the leaks, ultimately leading to Rebekah Vardy’s account, reports the Mirror.

Fellow I’m A Celeb alum Vardy has since been steadfast in her innocence. A source revealed to The Mail on Sunday, “Lily only rejoined Raya to try to figure out whether he was seeing someone. Lily has never even looked at anyone since she met David. She is devastated. He broke up with Lily a month ago. He was meant to be on holiday with her in Kenya over Christmas.”

While neither David nor Lily have publicly spoken about their relationship status, it’s been said that David’s dating profile indicates he’s “visiting New York from Atlanta” and describes himself as a “closet nerd that plays tough guys on your TV.” Friends of the singer believe he’s been open to new possibilities, as she reportedly discovered his active profile during the summer.

However, Lily’s undercover snooping has unearthed that David was apparently in India last week, seen with another woman at a temple in the Himalayan foothills, as she took a UK exit for a safari getaway with her kids over the festive period, having a lonely Christmas without her spouse.

The couple, who first graced the red carpet together at the 26th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 19, 2020, exchanged vows on September 7, 2020, in Las Vegas, with an Elvis impersonator presiding. Their marriage news stunned followers when they posted photos from their ostensibly joyous occasion online.

As of now, representatives for David and Lily have not provided any comments.
