Paddy McGuinness has offered a glimpse into his private life nearly three years after parting ways with his wife Christine, with whom he shares three children.
The doting dad has spoken about a shift in his routine as he discussed domestic life and childcare: “Before the kids, I used to dread Mondays because it was back to work,” he shared with the Guardian.
The Take Me Out host Paddy disclosed how a change at home has given him a sense of freedom: “Now Mondays are the day where you get your life back – at least between 9am and 3pm, when they’re at school. Monday for me is: ‘Let’s do what I’ve not been able to do over the weekend.’ ”
In a joint statement released in 2022 regarding their separation, the couple expressed: “A while ago we took the difficult decision to separate but our main focus was as always is to continue loving and supporting our children.”

They added, “This was not an easy decision to make but we’re moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children. We’ll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together.”
Despite their split almost three years prior, Paddy and the Real Housewives of Cheshire celebrity are said to still cohabit for the well-being of their three children, all of whom have autism.
Rising to fame in the early 2000s with the assistance of beloved comedian Peter Kay, he featured alongside the comic in his That Peter Kay Thing, and Phoenix Nights in the same year. Paddy’s career continued to flourish with numerous subsequent TV appearances.
In June 2011, he married model and TV personality Christine, and together they had three children, Leo, Penelope and Felicity.
Paddy is scheduled to return to television tonight (Tuesday, January 7) on BBC One’s Inside The Factory at 8pm, where he will co-star with Cherry Healey as they delve into some of the nation’s largest food production factories.
