Two bodies have been found inside the landing gear of a JetBlue airliner shortly after it landed in Florida.
The bodies of the two people, were discovered in the compartment of the JetBlue flight from New York’s JFK Airport to Florida on Monday night. The Mirror reports how a probe has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
A JetBlue spokesperson said: “On Monday evening, January 6, at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLHIA), two individuals were found in the landing gear compartment of one of our aircraft during the routine post-flight maintenance inspection. Tragically, both individuals were deceased.

The Mirror has contacted FLHIA and the local sheriff’s department for comment.
According to FlightAware.com, the flight departed New York’s JFK Airport just before 8pm. The flight arrived 28 minutes late at 11:10pm local time. JetBlue told Fox35 the plane had most recently operated flight 1801.
