While many are focused on New Year’s resolutions or Dry January, it turns out that we could have much bigger fish to fry in 2025.
Famous clairvoyants Baba Vanga and Nostradamus have previously made some scary predictions for the year – and there may be a bleak fate coming for us all.
The two world famous soothsayer have a serious knack for predicting world events, such as when Baba Vanga foresaw the death of Princess Diana in August 1996 and Nostradamus predicted the death of the death of Queen Elizabeth II along with the cost of living crisis.
So while we’re all trying to stick to our new years resolutions for 2025, here’s what the two legends have warned is in the post…
Baba Vanga’s terrifying predictions for 2025 and exactly what they mean for you
Baba Vanga died more than 25 years ago, but the Bulgarian mystic made predictions that are still materialising to this day. Similarly, French physician Michel de Nostredame, better known as Nostradamus, died in 1566, yet managed to predict events that also materialised hundreds of years after his death.
Despite the pair being born more than 450 years apart, they both had the same prediction for 2025 which is that the UK will face grave conflicts taking place in Europe next year.
Baba Vanga further predicted there would be a war in 2025 that will worryingly ‘devastate’ a large part of Europe. The Bulgarian fortune teller also said not only will Russia survive, it will “dominate the world”. She also added that the battle would result in earthquakes around the world, with some on the US west coast, as reported by Tyla.
Nostradamus echoed similar predictions when he wrote that 2025 would see the ‘lands of Europe’ break out into “cruel wars” and create “foes from within and without”. In his notes, written in his book Les Prophéties he said Britain would be “left in ruin” after a conflict in 2025, which would then be closely followed by a plague. “A great pestilence from the past returns, no enemy more deadly under the skies,” he said.
Other of Baba Vanga’s 2025 predictions include the possibility we may finally meet some aliens. While aliens have been the subject of ongoing debate for centuries, 2025 will be the year that humans finally encounter the extraterrestrial creatures, according to Baba Vanga. The mystic believes the meeting will happen under odd circumstances – with the first introduction predicted to take place during a major sporting event.
She also said destructive earthquakes and natural disasters would devastate areas across the globe in 2025, with specific mention of an earthquake along the west coast of the US. The mystic predicts these events will see a loss of human life, as well as mass displacement and destroyed infrastructure.
