A man who was arrested in the West Midlands has been charged with terror offences. Frankie Brown had been held by Counter Terrorism Police officers at an address in Keele, Staffordshire, in January last year.
The 20-year-old, who is from Kent, has now been charged with five counts of disseminating terrorist publications. He also faces five counts of possessing terrorist documents. He was due to appear before JPs at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday, January 7.

Staffordshire Police said in a statement issued today, Tuesday, January 7: “A 20-year-old man is due to appear in court charged with terrorism offences.
“Frankie Brown, from Kent, is due to appear before Westminster Magistrates Court today (7 January) charged with five counts of disseminating terrorist publications and five counts of possessing terrorist documents.
“Brown was arrested by Counter Terrorism Police on 31 January 2024 at an address in Keele, Staffordshire.”
