Crews remain at the scene after a major fire broke out on a leafy Greater Manchester street. Seven fire engines descended on Normans Place in Altrincham, Trafford, on Tuesday evening (January 7).
Specialist teams and appliances were also sent out to the scene. Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) says it was called out to a kitchen fire at a detached house shortly after 7.30pm.
