Aldi is offering a £24.99 pram rocker that claims to help calm restless babies in just a few minutes. The discount supermarket chain is launching its January Baby Event on Thursday (January 9), offering many products for parents and families to shop in stores.
The limited-edition Specialbuys include a Baby Walker for £29.99, a Cable Knit Baby Blanket for £6.99 and a Heat Sensor Bath Mat for £5.99. Other items include a Baby Hooded Towel and Mitt for £3.99, a Baby Safety Gate for £14.99 or a My Real Potty for £17.99.
There’s also a Jitterbug Pram Rocker on offer for £25, the Mirror reports. “Does your little one wake up a soon as you stop still, this pram rocker is perfect to effortlessly calm your baby,” reads the product description.
It could be incredibly helpful for parents with little ones who love being rocked to sleep. The pram rocker is BPA free and uses a USB cable, according to the description.
When trying to comfort a crying baby, going for a walk could be a good option, as the NHS explains. The Better Health website says: “Go outside with your baby and walk them in a pram or in a baby sling.

“The rocking motion can be very soothing for a baby. If you can’t go outside try a gentle rocking motion inside. Walk around whilst gently rocking your baby.”
Alternatively, the NHS suggests speaking softly to your baby while gently stroking them, humming or singing to your baby, or holding them close for skin-to-skin contact. A warm bath could also be beneficial, as per the advice.
