Primark’s ‘comfy’ £15 pyjamas come with a warning to all shoppers

Customers are heading to Primark for its latest release of snug pyjamas. They are perfect for staying cosy amidst the frosty weather currently blanketing the UK with snow and ice.

Fans of the budget-friendly retailer have been delighted to see the launch of a jungle-themed pyjama set. The striking, long-sleeved ensemble features a leopard print all over, and full-length bottoms.

They are meant to promote a “relaxed feel” with the soft material as well as an “elasticated waistband to offer a comfy fit”. The new set caught the attention of TikTok when user Chantelle (@Chantellemerritt) came across them displayed in her local shop.

She picked up the £15 “viral pyjamas in Primark” and posted about them in a short five-second video. The comments section lit up with reactions from fellow Primark shoppers, reports the Mirror.

Lots were impressed with the affordable set and quickly tagged their friends to plan a shopping trip. One shopper said: “It’s giving Kat Slater and I love it!”

Another added: “I can confirm they are soooo comfy!” A third only had one word to say – “glamour!” Someone else said: “They’ve got my name written all over them”.

However, not everyone was heaping on the praise. One shopper issued a word of warning who found the pyjamas “lovely” but advised women to purchase a size larger than usual, claiming that the PJ set tends to “shrink after washing.”

This was echoed by another shopper who shared their experience of not being able to fasten the buttons. They wrote: “Got my normal size and couldn’t do the buttons up after washing! Deffo get the next size up girlies!”

The set is available to view in Primark’s online store. Customers can easily find stock by searching for the store with availability after entering their postcode.

Sizes range from XXS to XL. Unfortunately, there is no click-and-collect option. The service is limited to a handful of Primark stores across the UK, but shoppers won’t have to wait long for that to change. Bosses announced that every Primark should be equipped to handle online ordering by the end of 2025.

In other news, Primark customers have been raving about the ‘comfiest ever’ knitted outfit that has hit the shelves. Some have said the £19 Button-Up Knitted Jacket and £15 Knitted Culotte Trousers look ‘so chic’.
