London could see snowfall tonight, according to fresh info from The Met Office.
Yesterday (Tuesday, January 7) saw the meteorologists predict snowfall today (Wednesday, January 8) across the southern half of the city. However, this has since been updates to include the entirety of London.
The warning has been in place since 9am this morning, and will remain until beyond midnight tonight. Tomorrow, however, should see the flurries move away, with the weather warning lifted.
The warning also stretches far into the West Country, as far as Devon and parts of Cornwall, while parts of the former will see such a heavy fall their warning has been upgraded to amber.
The updated weather warning encompasses the whole of London
Meanwhile, warnings are also in place across the northern reaches of Scotland (predictably), and in Northern Ireland for snow, ice and fog.
The Met Office warns that London’s warning could entail travel disruption and difficulty on the roads. Drivers should be especially careful in these conditions.
