Over 700 Wetherspoon locations have announced that they are slashing the price of beer to just 99p until January 16. As part of the sale, the majority of the chain’s pubs will offer beer for between 99p and £1.49 until Thursday, January 16.
The discounted drinks include popular brands such as Worthington’s, Ruddles, Greene King, and Doom Bar, as well as a range of low and non-alcoholic options like Guinness 0.0%, Gordon’s Pink Gin 0.0%, and Stella Artois Alcohol Free.
Other featured drinks include Adnams Ghost Ship, Beck’s Blue, Corona Cero, Brewdog Punk AF, Heineken 0.0, Erdinger, Thatchers Zero, and Koppaberg Alcohol Free, reports Birmingham Live.
Wetherspoon’s founder Tim Martin, explained the reasoning behind the sale: “Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pubs too.
“The range of drinks and food on sale in the pubs is aimed at suiting a wide variety of tastes. This year we have included our biggest selection of low and non-alcoholic drinks. I believe that the January Sale will prove popular with our customers. As always, staff at the pubs will serve customers responsibly.”
