Every year, a number of people across the UK and even further afield are awarded honours.

These honours are meant to recognise the efforts of people across the country in fields such as charity or literature. As usual, this year, many people from Yorkshire were granted awards.

People from all four corners of the county have been recognised with the awards, which range from Knighthoods to OBEs.
