Andy Woodman admitted that he is ‘devastated’ that Millwall loanee will be suspended for Sunday’s FA Cup clash at Premier League side Newcastle.
Grant was issued with two yellow cards in Bromley’s 4-1 defeat at Crewe and was sent off in the 79th minute.
The 21-year-old centre-back has made 28 appearances in all competitions for the Ravens.
His loan spell is set to expire after the trip to St James’ Park, but Grant is set to extend his loan stay until the end of the season.
“It’s a real shame for Kamarl – he’s been a real brilliant player for us,” said Woodman.
“He’s a good human being. His family should be really proud with how he conducts himself.
“With him to be sent off, and with the first yellow card being for dissent, he probably got more of a telling off from his mum than he did from me.
“I’m devastated for Kamarl – it’s a big stage and everyone will want to play on it.
“That’s football and it will be a learning curve for his career.
“He will have his day and big games throughout his career. He’s a young man who has a good career ahead of him.”
