Detectives have launched a probe into a shooting in Small Heath after gunshots were fired at a property. It happened in Bankes Road at around 2.40am today, Monday, December 30.
The address was damaged but no-one was hurt. Police patrols have been stepped up in the area following the incident.
Officers were due to review CCTV footage as part of the investigation, West Midlands Police said. Anyone with information should contact the force.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We’re investigating after gunshots were fired at an address in Small Heath earlier this morning. Damage was caused to a property in Bankes Road at around 2.40am – thankfully no-one was injured.
“We know this will cause concern for the local community. We’ve stepped up patrols and you will see an increased police presence in the area.
“We’re reviewing CCTV as part of our enquiries and are keen to hear from anyone who has information. We’re particularly interested in dash-cam footage from anyone who was in the area at the time.
