The Masked Singer was thrown into chaos as a celebrity reportedly “stormed off” the stage upon being voted out of the competition.
The beloved ITV show began its new season last weekend with a cast of concealed celebrities demonstrating their singing skills in the first episodes. However, it is said that upcoming scenes will feature a contestant making an abrupt departure from the stage, clearly unhappy with being eliminated.
Anticipated “dramatic scenes” are expected this Saturday night, where characters including Pufferfish, Bear, Toad in the Hole, Wolf, and Bush will return to perform. Sources suggest the anonymous celebrity making an impromptu exit is a “world-renowned star”.
An insider remarked on the bizarreness of the event, as normally, the least popular act promptly does the big reveal and then chats with the panel before performing again without their disguise.
The Sun was told by the source: “But instead, this character turned around and shuffled off stage, which was hilarious in their costume obviously – but we were all stunned. We knew something was going on because we saw lots of to-ing and fro-ing with crew before the person eventually came back on stage,” as reported by the Mirror.
