Tesco, TK Maxx and Homesense ‘do not eat’ warnings as cheese, beef and Turkish Delight products recalled

Tesco, TK Maxx and Homesense customers are being advised to check their cupboards, fridges and freezers after certain food items were withdrawn from sale.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issues recalls for a variety of reasons, including hidden allergens on packaging or the discovery of insects in products. The watchdog provides guidance on what action to take if you have bought a recalled product and details about the recall, including why the product was removed from sale.

Customers can return the item to their nearest store for a full refund and a receipt is not necessary. Here is a list of the most recent items being pulled from the shelves and the reasons behind it:

Sultans Turkish Delights

TJX Europe are recalling several Sultans Turkish Delights products, because they contain milk which is not mentioned on the label. The FSA said this means the products, sold in TK Maxx and Homesense, are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.
