Men burgle home and steal car in Cotswolds among latest reported crimes

A group of men who burgled a property and stole a car in the Cotswolds are among the crimes reported to Gloucestershire police over the past few days. Other incidents include details of a distraction theft of a purse and cash when a man claiming to be from a water company entered a home, and copper piping and air conditioning units being stolen from a business.

Longhorn Avenue Gloucester: A Mercedes car was entered in Longhorn Avenue Gloucester. This is believed to have occurred between midnight and 7.30am on January 10. Marham Drive, Kingsway: A laptop computer was reported stolen from a BMW car in Marham Drive Kingsway, Gloucester. A window was broken and entry gained. This is believed to have occurred at 5.25am on January 2. Broadway Road, Willesley: A set of number plates were taken a Nissan Micra car in Broadway Road in Willesley. This occurred between 8th and the 9th January. Anyone with any information please quote incident 132 9/1/25 Please use anti theft screws to secure your number plate.

Easton Grey Road, Westonbirt: A burglary was reported at Easton Grey Road in Westonbirt near Tetbury. This is believed to have occurred over the previous 4 days. Anyone with any information please quote Incident number 401 of January 9, 2025-

Little Bayshill Terrace, Cheltenham: A car was entered at in Little Bayshill Terrace in Cheltenham. A set of Airpods were taken. This occurred between 2pm and 7.30pm into January 9 . Sovereign Chase, Staunton: On Wednesday January 8, 2025 a property in Sovereign Chase, Staunton was burgled by a group men between 7.30pm to 7.45pm. The men entered a property and took a set of car keys, they also then left in a vehicle stolen from the property. Vehicle: Black Mercedes E350 AMG. Gloucestershire police have been out in the area today reassuring local residents and conducting CCTV patrols for any properties which may have evidence. Westgate Street, Gloucester: A burglary was reported at business premises in Westgate Street Gloucester. A window was broken and entry gained. This occurred between 5.30pm hours on the January 7 and 9am on January 8. Money was stolen. Anyone with any information please quote Incident number 76 on January 8, 2025

Millbrook Gardens, Cheltenham: A Nissan Qashqai car was entered at a Millbrook Gardens in Cheltenham. A bank card was stolen. This occurred overnight January 8 into January 9. Wellington Square, Cheltenham: A black Nissan Qashqai car was entered at a Wellington Square in Cheltenham. A purse and bank card were taken. This occurred overnight into January 8. Priors Road, Cheltenham: Two cars were reported entered at a Priors Road in Cheltenham. A purse, bank card and ID card were taken from one of the vehicles. This occurred overnight into January 7. Severn Road, Tewkesbury: A burglary and theft was reported at a business premises Severn Road in Tewkesbury. Copper piping and air conditioning units were stolen. This occurred between 3.30pm on January 4 and 9.30am on January 6. Anyone with any information please quote incident 172 of January 6, 2025.

Sandford Mill Road, Cheltenham: A ‘distraction’ burglary occurred in Sandford Mill Road in Cheltenham. A man purporting to be from the water board entered a house. A purse, cash and a bank card was later found to be missing. The man is described as about 50 years old, missing teeth and wearing a black beanie hat and a black puffer coat. He was riding a mountain bike. This occurred at 11am on January 6 . Anyone with any information please quote incident 358 of January 6, 2025.

Valley Gardens, Kingsway: The front number plate was stolen from Volkswagen car in Valley Gardens in Kingsway Gloucester. This occurred between 6pm on January 5 and 8am on the 6th. Bettensen Rise in Northleach: The front and rear number plates were stolen from white Transit van in Bettensen Rise in Northleach. This occurred between 20th December and January 6. On Monday the January 6, 2025 between the hours of 3.30pm and 9.05pm, a vehicle has been stolen form a driveway without keys. This happened in the area of Leighterton. Discerption of the vehicle is a black Land Rover Discovery model year 2016. Gloucestershire police that you to stay vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour.
