Strictly hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are on the brink of inking new deals to stay at the helm of the beloved show for another two years, it has been reported. Having wrapped up their prior contracts, BBC chiefs were quick to lock them down.
It is believed that Tess and Claudia have been offered “enhanced” terms to stay on the show for at least two more years. Tess, 55, and Claudia, 52, have been the faces of the BBC dance show for more than a decade.
A TV insider told The Sun: “This isn’t just a sign of the faith that the BBC has in the presenting duo, it also signals the commitment the corporation has to the show itself. They’re looking to the future after the past 12 months which have been dogged by claims of misbehaviour behind the scenes by pros Giovanni Pernice and Graziano di Prima.”

Claudia, who is currently enjoying great plaudits as the host of BBC murder mystery show The Traitors, has previously spoken of her devotion to the ballroom dancing show. When quizzed once about the idea of her departure, Claudia humorously retorted: “They’d still have to prise my cold, dead hands off that shiny Glitterball.”
Claudia joined the hit show in 2014 after Bruce Forsyth stepped down from his hosting duties alonside Tess. She has previously hosted the spin-off show Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two from 2004 till 2010.
The BBC has not commented on the matter.
