The big freeze is over and flood warnings have been removed after recent cold and wet weather. But a number of roads remain closed due to flooding in Gloucestershire today (Monday, January 13).
After sub-zero temperatures of recent days, the weather forecast for Gloucestershire is dry with sunny intervals on the cards. Temperatures are set to remain above freezing as well.
A flood alert remains on the River Severn in Gloucestershire, but there are now no Flood Warnings in place in the county. The A417 at Maisemore has fully reopened after being closed due to flooding.
Below are the list of roads reported as closed due to flooding by traffic and travel site Inrix. List updated at 6.30am on Monday.
Roads closed due to flooding
- Ham Road, Tirley, in both directions closed due to flooding from B4213 (Hasfield Crossroads, Tirley) to White End (Ashleworth).
- Howells Road in Tewkesbury in both directions closed due to flooding from Oldfield / Link Road to Swilgate Road.
- Northway Lane One Way Street in Tewkesbury closed due to flooding from A438 Ashchurch Road to The Garage.
- Sandhurst Road, Gloucester, in both directions closed due to flooding from A417 / St Oswalds Road to Wallsworth turning.
- Two Mile Lane, Highnam, in both directions closed due to flooding from The Golf Club to Gloucester turn off.
- Wainlode Lane, Lower Apperley, in both directions closed due to flooding between Ledbury turn off (Lower Apperley) and Old Tewkesbury Road (Norton).

Today: Patchy fog and frost in the east clearing to leave a generally dry day across the region with some sunshine. However, areas of cloud will affect Cornwall and parts of Devon. Temperatures near average, though breezy for a while. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Tonight: It will be a dry evening and night with gentle winds. Cloud cover will vary, with some clear spells developing, especially in the east. A patchy frost may form here. Minimum temperature 3 °C.
Tuesday: Tuesday looks set to be a mostly dry but fairly cloudy day, so sunshine will be rather limited. Temperatures will be near average, with the wind remaining gentle. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday: Generally dry on Wednesday and to end the week. Often fairy cloudy but some bright spells, and although temperatures near average, patchy frost and fog forming during overnight cloud breaks.
