Until January 5, Up at The O2 – the popular climb experience where you get to walk over The O2 in North Greenwich – is currently hosting a festive snow globe experience.
This experience allows daring climbers to enter a life-sized snow globe at a whopping 52 metres high.
Be sure to take a warm coat with you as well as hats and gloves, as it does get rather chilly and breezy up there, but if you forget they do have them available to borrow, as well as coats and gilets.
This experience is the perfect setting to take some wintery shots (Image: Emily Davison) After getting kitted out and signing our life away, we were taken up a flight of stairs by our guide before posing for a photo and beginning our ascent up The O2.
As far as workouts go this can definitely constitute as one, with an incline of 30 degrees it does get you working up a little bit of a sweat.
The experience lasts around 90 minutes, with around 30 minutes to enjoy the views at the top, while you can also opt for extras like a glass of fizz or beer if you fancy, and you’re also given a cookie as a reward at the top.

You can take your phone with you as well, as long as you have a secure pocket to keep it in, which you can use at the top to snap away to your heart’s content.
Once at the top we entered the snow globe, which felt so festive with fake snow and fir trees and plenty of props.
After snapping countless shots in the snow globe we went outside, where our guide was giving a talk about some of the sights you can see from up high.

The walk down was a little bit more tricky compared to the incline and you will have to walk backwards for the very last leg of the experience.
But it definitely gave me a sense of accomplishment at the end, and if you want a keepsake you can order one of the many photos that were taken of you on the climb.
The Snow Globe at the Up at The O2 will be running until January 5, with slots available from 10am until 6.30pm, with ticket prices starting at £44.
