Power-free dehumidifier has 11,000 five-star reviews and is on sale at Amazon

Shoppers are snapping up a discounted dehumidifier that’s currently on sale at Amazon and has over 11,000 five-star reviews.

The dehumidifier that’s ultra compact and doesn’t require any power has left shoppers seriously impressed by how ‘quickly’ it gets to work. The UniBond Moisture Absorber usually costs £12 on Amazon, however there’s currently 27% off, reducing the price to just £8.79.

In the colder winter months, condensation occurs more frequently, particularly on the inside of windows, due to warm air coming into contact with cooler surfaces, like cold window panes. If condensation isn’t removed, it can lead to issues with damp and mould in your home.

This little dehumidifier is currently reduced to just £8.79

Luckily, adding a dehumidifier to the problem areas within your home, should help to combat the problem. The UniBond Moisture Absorber has an overall rating of 4.4 from over 11,000 Amazon shoppers.

One said: “Works really quickly. Very easy to set up. Already collecting condensation and window area is so much drier. Nice design too.” While a second added: “As soon as I put these in the bedrooms they were actively collecting water so you could see they were actually working. Sturdy little things and I’d say good value for money too.”

A third person shared: “Bought the cheaper crystal ones. Did nothing after 48hrs, so returned them and bought these. These have collected water after 24hrs. They are very large so check the dimensions. I thought they were the size of an air freshener but they are a lot bigger.

“Putting them together is not easy and the plastic is not the best, but they are totally fit for purpose. Only time will tell how long it lasts and whether it’s value for money. But I am already glad I bought them after 24hrs. The tab that you need to buy refills lasted me a month. Nowhere near 90 days. They are cheap and they work so bare that in kind.”

A fourth person commented: “Bought 2 of these over a week ago , for upstairs/downstairs, and both are working great, gathered a fair amount of liquid in each and has cleared the condensation that normally resides on the windows, will be buying more for cupboards etc.”

While most shoppers thought the Uni Bond Moisture Absorber worked well, some weren’t as convinced. One person said: “I like this little de humidifier. Because it’s small it can be placed on the floor of a small room safely. It’s effective at soaking up moisture in the room and is a godsend in my bathroom. The container is a little on the flimsy side. Didn’t fit together very well initially and when I changed the block I couldn’t close the container properly. However, good value for money. I bought 2 and shall be buying more.”

Alternatively, Amazon has a pack of 10 EPISENT Dehumidifiers for £13.99. Or you can get this Pro Breeze 1500ml Premium Dehumidifier, that has over 21,000 five-star reviews, for £29.99 at Amazon.
