Alexis Mac Allister was sent a message by his girlfriend in a new relationship update. The Liverpool midfielder has been a crucial part of Arne Slot’s team this season.
Building on his impressive debut season in the last campaign, the World Cup winner has helped Liverpool go eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table with a string of consistent performances. This included another solid outing in the reds’ 5-0 win away at West Ham on Sunday.
Away from the pitch, the Argentine is in a relationship with Ailen Cova. The pair had some free time together earlier this month when Mac Allister was unable to play for a week.
He was suspended for games against Girona and Fulham in early December and as a result was allowed to go on holiday. They travelled to St. Moritz, a luxury alpine resort town in Switzerland.
Yesterday, Mac Allister shared several pictures of himself and his partner against the stunning backdrops of the Swiss Alps on his Instagram page. The couple braced the cold but thankfully could enjoy the sunny weather during their trip. Mac Allister captioned the post simply ‘St. Moritz’.

The post received over 280,000 likes and hundreds of comments including from Ailen. In a comment translated from her native Spanish, she told Mac Allister: “The most beautiful landscape is you.” Other Liverpool supporters sent their well wishes. One said: “Wonderful place.” Another said: “The best player.” A third added: “Hero.”
