Coronation Street’s Lucy Fallon has joyfully announced the arrival of her second child. The actress, known for her role as Bethany Platt in the popular ITV soap, confirmed last summer that she and her boyfriend Ryan Ledson were expecting another baby.
The couple shared their pregnancy news in a charming video announcement back in August 2024. Sharing a delightful video featuring their family-of-three, Lucy revealed on social media: “Half way there”.
The pair later expressed their excitement when they confirmed they were expecting a baby girl to join them and their first child, one year old son Sonny. On Tuesday, January 14, Lucy took to Instagram to share the thrilling news with fans that their baby girl had arrived.

The soap star simply captioned a first picture of the newborn in a floral baby grow embroidered with ‘Little Sister’ on the front: “Our teeny angel girl is here 11/1/25 x,”. Her Corrie colleagues were quick to respond.
Samia Longchambon, who portrays Maria Windass, commented: “Little beauty! ! Congratulations to you all,” reports the Manchester Evening News.
Shona Platt actress Julia Goulding remarked: “She’s absolutely beautiful! Congratulations sweetheart.” Jane Danson, renowned for her role as Leanne Battersby, added: “Congratulations. She is beautiful . Enjoy this special time.”
Former Corrie actress Brooke Vincent responded with “Stop,” complemented by a series of love-struck emojis. Co-star Alexandra Mardell, who played Emma Brooker on the soap, exclaimed “Beautiful! Congrats to you all.”While Waterloo Road’s Hattie Dynevor congratulated with: “So beautiful! Congratulations.”

The news comes just days after Coronation Street actress Rebecca Ryan, who played Lydia Chambers on the ITV soap, has announced she is pregnant with her second child, less than a year after welcoming her daughter.
