Claudia Winkleman candidly expressed her thoughts on former Strictly Come Dancing professional Giovanni Pernice, revealing a saucy anecdote in her book. Celebrating her 53rd birthday today (Wednesday, January 15), the Traitors host reminisces about her 2020 autobiography comments regarding what Pernice looks like shirtless.
Writing long before allegations of bullying from actress Amanda Abbington towards Giovanni, Claudia wrote in her book: “This might be why you’re here so here goes, let me divulge. If I haven’t covered enough then I’m happy to answer any questions. Tweet me and that’s the deal.”
Additionally, she teased readers who might be curious about Giovanni’s physique, saying, “You’ve got the book and you want to know what Giovanni looks like without his top on – I get it, just let me know. By the way, if that is the question, then the answer is knockout, plus much more muscular than you’d think.”
Giovanni Pernice departed from the BBC dance show following Amanda Abbington’s claims of abusive behaviour towards her, leading to a probe that upheld six out of 17 complaints against the Italian dancer, 34. The investigation, however, dismissed allegations of physical abuse.

Claudia Winkleman is back presenting reality show The Traitors, which next airs on BBC One tonight at 9pm. Following recent revelations, she has shared her joy for the newest ‘love of her life,’ a fresh addition to her family – and it’s not her husband, film producer Kris Thykier, with whom she has three children, reports Lancs Live.
In a recent episode of the Where There’s A Will, There’s A Wake podcast, The Traitors host shared with Kathy Burke about her latest family addition that she’s completely smitten with. She confessed to being so fond of the new family member that she even sings them a “lullaby”.

However, it seems her husband, Kris Thykier, finds it all a bit “much”. Claudia revealed: “So, I’ve recently got a dog, who I am in love with. I mean, I’m gonna bore you till your ears bleed. The two [children] have left home; I didn’t know what to do. I thought I might steal a baby, so instead, I got a dog who I treat like…I mean, I don’t put him in clothes but I didn’t know.
“Anyway, so I love Skip, love of my life. I look for toys for him; I stroke his ears. Sometimes, I’ve been known to sing him a lullaby. My husband was like, ‘This is too much’.”
