A high street giant is set to close their Sheffield city centre store.
The Body Shop is understood to be trading for a final day, in Orchard Square, today. The Body Shop has enjoyed a presence in Sheffield city centre for 34 years.
A spokesperson said: “This has been difficult news to manage, particularly for our tremendously loyal – and in many cases long serving staff – but also for our many loyal customers.
“The store’s closing day will be the last day of work for our treasured manager, Jean Haigh who has given 29 years of valued service to The Body Shop, with her last 20 years based in Orchard Square.
“It will also be the last day for our longest serving member of staff, Dee Smith who has worked for the Body Shop and us in Orchard Square for 22 years.”
