Police have launched an appeal after a woman suffered head injuries in a multiple vehicle crash including a bus in Stoke-on-Trent. The collision, involving three vehicles, happened in Esperanto Way, Smallthorne, shortly before 10am on Tuesday, February 14.
Paramedics rushed to the crash scene near The Green Star pub. A bus, a silver Toyota Yaris and a blue Skoda Octavia were involved in the smash.
A woman, aged in her 70s, the driver of the Toyota, was checked over by medics at the scene. Police said she suffered “a superficial head injury”.

The bus driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and the Skoda driver were uninjured. All drivers remained at the scene to assist with police enquires.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for information following a collision involving multiple vehicles in Stoke-on-Trent. We were called shortly before 10am yesterday to Esperanto Way, close to The Green Star pub, in Smallthorne following reports of a collision.
“A bus, a silver Toyota Yaris and a blue Skoda Octavia were found involved in a collision. A woman, in her 70s, the driver of the Toyota was checked over by paramedics at the scene.
“She suffered a superficial head injury. The bus driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, the Skoda driver and a male passenger were uninjured. All drivers remained at the scene to assist us with our inquiries.
