Strictly Come Dancing may have come to an end on our TV screens but that’s no excuse for fans not to ‘keeeep dancing!’ That’s because the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour is back, and it promises to be ‘bigger, brighter, and more brilliant than ever!’
The show is being performed at arena across the UK and features seven couples including Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas; Montell Douglas and Kai Widdrington; Wynne Evans and Katya Jones; Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Škorjanec; JB Gill, Amy Dowden and Lauren Oakley and Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu. Sarah Hadland was due to dance with Vito Coppola but he has confirmed in a Hello magazine report that he will be replaced by Nikita Kuzmin for all the Birmingham shows due to a back injury.
Strictly judge Motsi Mabuse will be joining the tour for the first time, sitting on the panel with TV judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood. Meanwhile, the show will be hosted by BBC Two’s Strictly – It Takes Two’s Janette Manrara.

A Strictly spokesman said: “Hold on to your sequins, shine up those dance shoes, and prepare for a show of pure glitz, glamour, and jaw-dropping excitement – because the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour is back, and it promises to be bigger, brighter, and more brilliant than ever!
“Coming to arenas across the UK in January and February 2025, this is your time to forget those wintery nights and allow yourself to be swept away into a world of dance, dazzle, live music and pure fun-filled entertainment.”
The couples will be joined by professional dancers: Dianne Buswell, Karen Hauer, Neil Jones, Jowita Przystal plus Robbie Kmetoni and Jake Leigh.
Strictly dates and times in Birmingham
The Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour will be at Utilita Arena Birmingham from Friday January 17 to Sunday January 19. Be sure to check timings as they vary each day.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, the arena doors will open at 6pm, with access to seats from 6.30pm. The show will start at 7.30pm and end around 9.45pm.
There will also be a matinee performance on Saturday January 18, where arena doors will open at 1pm, the show will start at 2.30pm and finish around 4.45pm.
Sunday’s matinee performance is slightly earlier, with doors opening at midday, the show starting at 1.30pm and ending around 3.45pm. Then on Sunday evening, the doors open at 5pm, the show starts at 6.30pm and ends around 9.45pm. Timings are approximate and subject to change.

How to get tickets to Strictly Come Dancing
Ticket prices start from £42.60 and include a service fee and £2.95 admin fee per order. You can book tickets via Ticketmaster here but you’ll probably need to be quick as the website says there is ‘low availability’ for most of the Birmingham dates, especially the Sunday matinee. You can also book tickets via the AXS website too.
Strictly Premium Experiences
If you really want to go to town, there are a series of premium experience packages you can book. A spokesman said: “Add some extra glitz and glam to your visit with a Premium experience! Choose from a quintessentially British afternoon tea, our delicious dining menus, dancefloor seats complete with Champagne, and the brand new Sequin Experience, an exhibition of iconic costumes from the live tour’s spectacular history.”

The Sequin Experience is available at every show and provides pre-show access to a costume exhibition from Strictly Come Dancing Live over the years, a welcome glass of champagne, a selection of light bites, a premium category seat, on-site parking, exclusive VIP entrance and private WC and cloakroom facility.
The Cha Cha Buffet Experience takes place on Sunday evening only and includes a premium category seat, a supper buffet and a selection of sweet treats, a welcome glass of Champagne, on-site parking, exclusive VIP entrance, pre-show and interval access to a private lounge and interval drinks pre-order service.
The Essential Experience is available for all performances and includes a premium category balcony seat, on-site parking, exclusive VIP entrance, pre-show and interval access to a private bar and lounge, a welcome drink on arrival and private WC and cloakroom facilities.
And, available on Friday and Saturday evening performances only, is the Ultimate Experience. This includes a premium category seat, on-site parking, exclusive VIP entrance, pre-show, interval and post-show access to a private lounge, a selection of food and drinks, interval and post-show drinks pre-order service, post-show lounge access for up to one hour and private WC and cloakroom facilities.
There’s also an Afternoon Tea Experience on the matinee performances where you can tuck into sandwiches, scones and ‘delightful bites’ with a glass of champagne before taking your premium category seat. There’s also on-site parking, exclusive VIP entrance, pre-show and interval access to a private lounge and an interval drinks pre-order service.
