Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about her recent reunion with former fiancĂ© Tommy Fury, acknowledging that their relationship is ‘complicated’.
The pair’s love story unfolded in front of the nation when they met on Love Island in 2019. The 25-year-old celebrities have since welcomed a daughter, Bambi, and were planning to wed before parting ways in August 2024.
However, they reportedly rekindled their romance at a New Year’s Eve bash last year, where they were spotted sharing a smooch.
Now, the mother-of-one has clarified the situation, admitting that managing their relationship under the scrutiny of the public eye has been challenging. Speaking at the premiere of her upcoming revealing documentary Molly-Mae: Behind It All, she stated: “We are navigating a really complicated time in both of our lives, in the public eye, and I think this is a whole new territory for me.”

“Obviously my relationship has always been in the public eye, but to deal with this break-up with millions of eyes watching, it is hard, and it is complicated,” reports Lancs Live.
“And I think the reason why I don’t comment on it, and why I don’t speak about it on my YouTube, or publicly is because simply, we are both navigating it ourselves, and we both are figuring it out as adults and as parents, we’re doing the best we can.”
“But I really do feel like the documentary is going to answer a lot of questions, and we also do touch on that situation, because I think the last thing I want is any confusion, and I don’t ever want people to feel confused by what’s going on, so we will try to explain.”
Molly-Mae Hague has signalled that her forthcoming documentary series set to debut on Amazon Prime this Friday, focusing on the recent six months of her life, promises to shed light on the inner workings of her new fashion label Maebe, all while she balances motherhood.

Meanwhile, her former beau has candidly expressed his side of their split story. Coinciding with Molly-Mae’s documentary launch event, Tommy Fury granted an interview to Men’s Health where he addressed his own role in their parting.
Contrary to rumours of him cheating, the boxer disclosed their separation was attributed to his struggles with alcohol.
“All I’ve been seeing for the past six months is ‘Cheater!’, ‘He slept with me!’, ‘He slept with this girl, he slept with that girl!’ Complete and utter b****cks. We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore. It kills me to say it, but I couldn’t. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink,” he revealed.
Molly-Mae: Behind It All episodes 1-3 launch exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on January 17. The latter three episodes will drop in Spring 2025.
