The four people who have been charged with the murder of a man in North London have been named. Gregory Castillo Volquez, 36, a father of two, was stabbed to death during the early hours of Tuesday morning (January 13) in Tiverton Road, Haringey.
Carlos Alfredo Ramirez Tavarez, 27, Edison Dario Canario Perez, 22 and Joan Perea, 20, all from Tiverton Road, N15, have now been charged – as well as Naiara Lizeth Hernandez-Bonilla, aged 20, of Birnam Road, N4.
Another 21-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody at this stage. They were charged yesterday (Wednesday, January 15). They will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, 16 January

Detective Inspector Jim Barry, who is leading the investigation, previously said: “In the early hours of Monday morning, two children tragically lost their father. Our officers acted swiftly and arrested three men and one woman on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody.
“We recognise this is a worrying time for those in Haringey and residents can expect to see more police in the area while we conduct our enquiries.
“If anyone saw this senseless attack, or was nearby, please come forward and speak to our officers. We are particularly interested in any mobile phone footage from around the surrounding area. Our thoughts remain with Gregory‘s family, who are being supported by trained officers at this heart-breaking time.”
