Energy giant Eon has told customers how they can bag an extra £50. The company is running an offer which allows customers to earn £50 if they recommend a family member or friend to sign up.
Both the existing customer and new member will save £50 on their energy bills through the offer. Customers just need to follow a few simple steps in order to benefit from the offer.
And it’s even more important as energy bills are about to increase again from January. Eon explained what customers need to do in order to save on their bills.

They said: “Refer. Earn £50. Repeat. Help your friends and family get more from their energy with our refer a friend deal – and get money off your energy bills!
“Referring couldn’t be easier. Through your online account you can refer as many friends as you want to sign up with us for their electricity and gas. Every time you recommend a friend that joins us, you’ll both receive £50 off your energy bills.
“Step 1: Get your referral link from your online account and send it out through Facebook, X (Twitter), WhatsApp and more. Step 2: Your friends and family sign up to us online using your referral link. Step 3: You both get £50 credit towards your energy bills. Simple.”
The Energy Price Cap has been raised by Ofgem once again for January. It will mean typical households paying £21 a year more for their gas and electricity.
