Love Island legend pulls out of All Stars at the last minute with unique reason

Love Island icon Anna Vakili revealed she pulled out of All Stars and revealed the unique reason why she changed her mind.

The TV personality, 34, rose to fame on the 2019 edition of the ITV2 programme, with the star quickly going viral over her ‘Storm Anna’ row when then-partner Jordan Hames was seen flirting with bombshell India Reynolds – who is currently on the All Stars programme.

She currently hosts a podcast with her sister Mandy called Sisters In The City. She revealed she was due to go on All Stars this year but suddenly decided against doing so as: “The kind of man I want to settle down with wouldn’t really want a woman that’s going on Love Island.”

Anna revealed she went through the entire process for the show, such as meetings, drug tests and STD tests. “Don’t get me wrong guys, I was very far down the line to go on there,” she said. Soon, she decided to drop out as she doesn’t think her dream man would be in the villa. “I should be in South Africa right now, on Love Island All Stars, in the warmth in a bikini on TV because I was very close to going on there,” she said.

Mandy asked: “How do you feel about letting go of that opportunity?” Anna responded: “I don’t see it as an opportunity, I look at previously Love Island All Stars and I don’t think it did anything for any of them. In terms of me finding someone on there, it’s very very slim.”

The reality star, whose life changed for the better financially after appearing on the show, claims returning to the programme would be “greedy”. She added: “It would have not benefited me financially. The kind of man I want to settle down with wouldn’t really want a woman that’s going on Love Island. I feel that’s such a f****** up thing to say but that’s the truth.

“For example, when I went on in 2019, I had to go on because we were in a bad financial place. It changed me life, it changed our family’s life, it served its purpose. Going on there now, is just being greedy. The guy that I would want to marry now, would look down on that ‘why you on there snogging different guys in a bikini’. I’m a 34-year-old woman.”
