Transform mouldy windowsill woman’s ‘magic cleaning trick’ which banishes it ‘for good’

Mouldy windowsills are something you don’t want in your home, and the mould needs addressing, as this unwelcome guest won’t disappear by itself.

TikToker @ladylegit shared her experience in a video captioned: “I used this about 4 months ago now and the mould still hasn’t grown back. Need to order some more of this stuff and battle every window!”

She revealed, “If the windows in your house look anything like” hers, then it’s important to address the issue, as she showed black mould hidden beneath the blinds.

“Honestly, as embarrassing as it is to show, I really wanted to share this because I feel like a lot of us have mould in our house and don’t realise how dangerous it is,” she admitted. Understanding that people find it hard to “get rid of it permanently,” she was keen to recommend a solution that had been effective for her.

The product she endorsed was the “viral” Mould Magic extreme gel formula, which claims to “banish mould quickly and easily”. She explained that the product aims to “get rid of the mould for good,” not just conceal it.

“So it says to dry the area and leave the gel on for about two to three hours,” she instructed, before applying it to the black mould on the window sill. After donning gloves and wiping the gel away, she presented “the results speak for themselves” showing a window sill that appeared immaculate, free from any mouldy residue.

The recommendation was hard-earned, as she revealed her struggle with persistent mould despite using “three different bleaches,” which failed to keep the mould at bay. In contrast, after applying Mould Magic, she happily reported a mould-free period of four months.

“It’s only going to get worse,” she warned, if people don’t sort it, advising people to tackle their mould issues proactively instead of hoping they’ll disappear. She highlighted the health risks by scrolling through symptoms of mould exposure and stressing that it “can cause serious health issues,” concluding “it’s just not worth it”.

The government website corroborates her concerns, noting that “Damp and mould primarily affect the airways and lungs, but they can also affect the eyes and skin. The respiratory effects of damp and mould can cause serious illness and, in the most severe cases, death”.

The sought-after Mould Magic is priced at £12.99, but she mentioned a TikTok shop deal where you could snag two for “less than a tenner,” calling it a “no brainer,” for those interested in checking out the fluctuating prices online.

In the comments section, users confirmed the product’s efficacy, with one saying: “This really does work. I used this about three years ago and it honestly hasn’t returned.”

Another shared a preventative tip, writing: “I’m trying the German way of opening all doors and windows in my flat for 5 minutes twice a day get a good air flow through it’s really helping.”
