Birmingham nightclub to ‘transform’ for cowboy party with mechanical bull

If you love all things country, you might want to ride down to Digbeth for a show with line dancing, bull riding and more. Next month, a club will ‘transform’ into an ‘immersive experience’, giving people a taste of the Wild West in the West Midlands.

The Country Club will take place at Birmingham XOYO on February 22 from 5 until 11pm. Featuring music from Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen and more, the party showcases modern country artists in a modern club environment.

As well as bull riding and line dancing, there will be plenty of games on the night. There will also be a competition to see who has the best cowboy or cowgirl outfit.

Tickets for the event, which you can grab at online provider Skiddle, start at £24.45.

XOYO Birmingham has a 3.6 score out of five stars on Google Reviews. This is based on 150 independent reviews.

Andrew Little said: “I visited for a gig, it was great and the sound was excellent. Bouncers and the security inside were respectful and friendly.”

David Jones added: “Very good show and energy was great from the band and all attendees. Venue was well placed AND easy enough to find with a sat nav.”

Heidi Alford commented: “Small live venue in Digbeth, doesn’t look much from the outside but it’s pretty good once you’re in.

However, one reviewer said: “I would have given 0 if they had the option. The security and staff are very rude and arrogant. They kicked my friend out just because he was just standing on the stairs while on the phone.

“When asked, the security said that he was not allowed on the stairs. The security guard did not even give a warning to my friend about that.”
