Alison Hammond’s newest presenting role will take her away from This Morning

ITV favourite Alison Hammond is set to present a new show that is a nod to her pre-fame career.

The cheery This Morning presenter will be joining forces with her son Aidan for an exciting travel series on BBC Two.

The travel programme will be called Florida Unpacked and will show viewers how to enjoy the Sunshine State on a budget.

It’s an area where Alison already has some experience as before she appeared on Big Brother and found fame, the beloved Brummie worked as a travel rep.

Taking to social media to share the update, Alison wrote: “Florida on a budget with me and my son @aidanhammond555 coming soon on @bbciplayer and bbc2. 27 th Jan @rockoystermedia pic by @rankinarchive.”

But that’s not all for Alison; she’s also co-hosting Channel 4’s The Great British Bake Off with Noel Fielding. She stepped into the tent in 2023, filling the shoes left by comedian Matt Lucas.

Her busy schedule doesn’t end there, she also presents ITV’s For the Love of Dogs, stepping in after the tragic death of Paul O’Grady in March 2023.

Alison has secured her spot as a fan favourite on This Morning, regularly brightening up our Fridays alongside Dermot O’Leary. She took on the main presenting role in 2021, having been part of the team since 2002 as a reporter.

Alison’s net worth is estimated to be between £1 million and £4 million, a testament to her diverse and successful career in showbiz.

She brings in an estimated £600,000 annually for her role on This Morning. Recently, she took to the stage in Birmingham’s Christmas pantomime of Peter Pan and has a portfolio of lucrative brand partnerships.

Her latest venture sees her teaming up with her son for a new travel show. The 10-episode series will document their adventures in Florida on a tight budget.
