Richard Madeley and wife Judy Finnigan have made a huge announcement 15 years after they last worked together. The pair are set to work together again for the first time in 15 years as they gear up to make a huge announcement, they say.
Richard and Judy, who share daughter Chloe Madeley, are set to launch a brand-new underwear range, according to reports. Richard, who hosts ITV Good Morning Britain, has – alongside wife Judy, his former on-screen partner – trademarked their name.
The move to trademark their iconic name comes in order to flog goods including smellies, cosmetics and other merchandise. Intellectual Property Office published the application this week. The TV couple first trademarked ‘Richard and Judy’ in 2000 and re-applied again in December last year.

“Judy’s bra flash was perhaps one of the outstanding moments of their career and may have inspired the couple to consider underwear as an option — and clearly they still think so,” a source told the Sun newspaper this week.
“But it’s not the only product they’ll be able to put their name on and they could make a mint.” The couple married in 1986 and co-hosted This Morning and Richard & Judy for decades. Richard, 68, is now a presenter on ITV’s Good Morning Britain but Judy, 76, is rarely seen on TV.
Their application appears to have expired in 2020 but they applied again in December. Speaking previously about their marriage, Judy said: “I thought he looked nice. Tall, handsome and all that but I thought the suit was a bit flash. Then, because he was a newbie, I was assigned the job of looking after him.”
The co-workers then went on to divorce their respective spouses and married each other four years later in Manchester. Richard admitted to having several affairs during his first marriage.
