CCTV images have been shared following a ‘serious assault’ in Stockport. Police said they were called to the attack on St Petersgate at around 1.30am on October 20.
Details about the nature of the attack have not yet been confirmed by the force, however investigations have been ongoing into the incident for a number of weeks.
Greater Manchester Police has now shared images of men they want to identify and speak to as part of their enquiries into the assault.
Anyone with information or who witnessed the attack is being urged to contact the force. Officers said a number of vehicles drove past the incident in the street, and so are urging any bystanders to come forward.
A post shared by GMP Stockport read: “We are appealing to identify the men in these images in connection with a serious assault on St Petersgate, Stockport at 1.30am on Sunday 20 October 2024.
“We would also like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this assault or has dashcam footage, as a number of vehicles passed by the incident, who has not yet come forward to officers to do so now.
“Anyone with information, please call Stockport CID on 0161 856 9790 or 101 quoting log 250 of 20/10/24.”
