If you ever find yourself stuck for things to do in Manchester, our tip is to go bowling at King Pins. Boasting two venues in the North West, these state-of-the-art bowling complexes are overflowing with various activities for all ages. King Pins’ latest opening in Manchester’s Arndale Centre has become a fast favourite for locals and has been rated 4.9 stars by 184 Google reviewers.

One reviewer wrote, “I’ve been here weekly for the past 5 weeks and every time I’ve been it’s been an amazing and welcoming experience… 10/10 would return and would recommend to others.” While another guest said, “Great atmosphere! We had a blast at King Pins Arndale, they have a seamless booking process, nice and approachable staff, lots of range with the activities so much to choose from!”

But you won’t have to wait too long to try ‘The Crown Jewels of Bowling’ in the South West. King Pins is opening a third location on February 14 – but this time its chosen destination is Bristol. Opening at Cabot Circus, King Pins Bristol will host everything from ten-pin bowling and ice-free curling to tech darts, American pool and shuffleboard.

You’ll also want to warm up your vocal chords beforehand for karaoke, or while away the hours in the arcade. But it’s not only about the games as King Pins is well known for its tasty food – like pizza, wings and Asian street food – and for supporting local vendors in its Manchester venues. The Bristol venue will follow suit with a bar and onsite eatery.

King Pins also boasts its own dessert kiosk, ‘Royal Treats,’ at both its other locations. Here, they serve a huge selection of sweet snacks, from doughnuts and soft-serve ice cream to endless Pick ‘N’ Mix. We’re hoping for something similar in Bristol, but we won’t know the Bristol food options until they are announced in the coming weeks.

“It’s only a few weeks now until we open the doors to King Pins in Cabot Circus and we can’t wait to meet the city’s bowling royalty,” said James Travis, Brand Manager at King Pins. “We’ll be open just in time for half term so we’d love to invite local families to pop in for a school holiday’s day out. King Pins Bristol will officially open on Valentine’s Day so for any lovebirds looking for date night ideas, we’re sure we’ll bowl you over!”

With Roxy Lanes, Lane7 and The Lanes all already open in Bristol city centre, King Pins will face fierce bowling competition when it opens. But we’re excited to see if it can meet the challenge. You can book now to King Pins by visiting here.
