Shoppers said the new range was the “best ever” but one popular product is missing
Aldi has launched a new plant based range
Plant-based diets have soared in popularity in recent years with many people trying out the Veganuary trend this New Year. Many of the UK’s major supermarkets are selling a new range of vegan and vegetarian foods for people to try this January.
This includes Aldi, who has launched a new range of tasty treats for those looking to give up meat this month. The discount retailer shared its new plant based range on Instagram.
It said: “These new plant-based delights are going straight in our baskets. Head in store now to grab the full vegan range.” Aldi’s range includes Indian inspired vegetable nests (£1.99), baking bert (£1.99), no chicken slices (£1.49), no salmon slices (£2.99), plan menu meal kits including keema, no beef and more (£2.99).

Shoppers are already loving the plant based range with some saying it’s the “best” compared to other supermarket retailers. Liandrathercrazycatlady said: “Loving this. For me, Aldi vegan cheese is the best one around. Looking forward to trying the camembert.”
Amyandcub also said: “Oh Aldi, the no smoked salmon is incredible! I was literally telling someone how I’d been craving it recently as I used to love the taste and it’s been over 10 years and when I saw this I knew I had to try it.” However, other shoppers said they couldn’t find one particular item which they’ve loved in previous years.
Sarahbensonxx added: “Please bring back the no chicken nuggs! They were the best.”
