This Morning favourite Alison Hammond has hinted she might be winding down her workload, having experienced a “very busy” 2024. Engaging in on-air banter with presenter Dermot O’Leary, Alison dropped the unexpected revelation.
As they spoke with a manifestation expert on the show about their aspirations for the upcoming year, Alison expressed her intent to “take more time off” in 2025, leaving co-host Dermot a tad disappointed.
Opening up during the broadcast, Alison disclosed: “I want a little bit more time off this year, I’ve been very busy,” followed by her hopes for “a trip to Japan.”
In response, Dermot humorously opposed Alison’s downtime aspirations, saying to the expert: “I’m manifesting for Alison to take less time off, sorry Alison, but I miss you when you’re not here.”
His commentary didn’t stop there as he revealed his own wish to visit Italy again, this time with the ability to converse in Italian, reports the Mirror.

Another concurred: “#thismorning Right definitely pre recorded.” One user pointed out the logistical challenge of Alison’s schedule, noting: “Alison is doing panto today at 14:30… in Birmingham. Are we led to believe that she will make it from this live show London in time? #ThisMorning.”
