All the celebrity homes destroyed in LA wildfires from Paris Hilton to Anthony Hopkins

The Los Angeles wildfires have claimed the homes of an increasing number of celebrities, with five fatalities and over 130,000 evacuations reported. The initial fire ignited on Tuesday, and currently, at least five major fires are active in LA, threatening the residences of numerous A-list celebrities.

Iconic landmarks of the star-studded city are also in jeopardy, including the Capitol Records building, the TCL Chinese Theatre, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the Hollywood Bowl.

The evacuation zone is perilously close to the Hollywood sign, one of the most recognisable symbols of the city. The Griffith Observatory, a backdrop for movies like ‘Rebel Without A Cause’ and ‘La La Land’, is another potential casualty.

Gusting winds reaching speeds of up to 100mph are exacerbating the situation, initially preventing aerial firefighting efforts and leading to homes being consumed by flames at an alarming rate, reports the Express.

Paris Hilton’s Malibu beachfront property was among those destroyed, leaving her “heartbroken beyond words”. She took to Instagram to express her sorrow, stating she watched her home “burn to the ground on live TV”.

Leighton Meester, Adam Brody, Miles Teller and Anna Faris affected

Actors Leighton Meester and Adam Brody have been left without their £5 million LA residence, with Page Six publishing photos of the inferno engulfing their garage door and leaving nothing but the charred remains of the roof.

Anna Faris is another celebrity who has suffered a significant loss, with her multimillion-dollar mansion being reduced to ashes, as depicted in harrowing photographs.

Miles Teller, the star of “Top Gun: Maverick,” and his wife Keleigh have tragically lost their home in the recent Pacific Palisades fire, a property they had just bought for £6 million.

Homes of Eugene Levy, John Goodman and Billy Crystal destroyed

Eugene Levy, the beloved comedic actor, also fell victim to the flames, having earlier this week disclosed that he was caught in traffic due to the mass evacuations taking place.

Anthony Hopkins, an Oscar-winning actor, saw his Pacific Palisades residence, where he has lived for over 25 years, reduced to ruins.

Billy Crystal and his wife Janice’s home in the same vicinity was destroyed, with only their tennis court left partially standing. The couple expressed their sorrow, stating they are “heartbroken” as they had resided there since 1979.

The Crystals released a joint statement saying: “Words cannot describe the enormity of the devastation we are witnessing and experiencing.”

“Janice and I lived in our home since 1979. We raised our children and grandchildren here. Every inch of our house was filled with love. Beautiful memories that can’t be taken away. We are heartbroken of course but with the love of our children and friends we will get through this.”

They spoke of the Pacific Palisades community as being “resilient community of amazing people” and full of “resilient community of amazing people” affirming: “It is our home”.

John Goodman, another esteemed actor, had his Los Angeles abode completely destroyed by the fire, with Page Six reporting that photographs show nothing but a charred swimming pool remaining.

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag from ‘The Hills’ have also revealed that their home was claimed by the devastating fire. The couple, who tied the knot again in 2009, captured the fire’s intensification on their Snapchat stories, with Pratt disclosing: “I’m watching our house burn down on the security cameras.”

Academy Award-winning lyricist Diane Warren shared the sad news of losing her beachside abode of three decades to the wildfire but mentioned her animals had made it through.

Numerous celebrities recounted chilling tales of having to abandon their homes amidst the crisis, including Mark Hamill, James Woods, and Mandy Moore.

‘Star Wars’ legend Hamill described a harrowing escape, saying his family were “fleeing for our lives” as they left their residence, while ‘Once Upon A Time In America’ actor Woods reflected on the emotional toll, stating: “It tests your soul, losing everything at once.”

‘This Is Us’ star Moore took to Instagram to post videos of the devastation around her area, expressing: “Honestly, I’m in shock and feeling numb for all so many have lost, including my family.”

She continued, “My children’s school is gone. Our favourite restaurants, leveled. So many friends and loved ones have lost everything too. Our community is broken but we will be here to rebuild together.”

Jamie Lee Curtis, an Oscar-winning actress, confirmed her own home was spared but mourned the loss of “our beloved neighbourhood is gone” as she uploaded footage of the blaze on Instagram.

Numerous other celebrities, including Ben Affleck and Black Eyed Peas vocalist Fergie, were compelled to leave their residences due to the threat, although it remains unconfirmed whether their properties have been affected by the fire.
