Snow is set to fall across the UK for four days, according to the Met Office. The forecaster has issued a number of weather warnings affecting a number of areas this week.
Wintry conditions will be seen on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The snow – which will be ‘persistent’ in some parts of the UK – are expected to cause travel disruption.
The Met Office said: “Snowy, wintry weather can cause delays and make driving conditions dangerous. Keep yourself and others safe by planning your route, giving yourself extra time for your journey.
