There were whispers last October suggesting Annie aimed to secure half of Kyle’s staggering £27 million fortune. The Sheffield-born footballer, aged 34, appears to be considering a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.
Amidst these talks, sources suggested Annie, 33, had put their divorce on hold. Friends of the former model insist that Annie’s decision has not been swayed by the potential “life-changing” money involved in Kyle signing a new contract.

Insiders close to the couple have confided in the Mirror, dismissing any conjecture that Annie’s intentions with Kyle are financially driven as “nonsense” These clarifications emerge amidst claims from earlier in the week that deliberations concerning Kyle’s potential transfer to Saudi Arabia, where he could earn over £400,000 weekly, were influencing Annie’s decisions regarding their personal matters, reports the Mirror.
“Any suggestion that Annie is staying with Kyle for financial benefit is absolute nonsense and pure speculation,” a source exclusively revealed to our sister publication. They continued: “The couple are still navigating their relationship behind the scenes but will always come together to be there for their children who they both absolutely adore.”
They added: “They enjoyed a family Christmas together and are looking ahead to the new year to see what may be on the horizon,” hinting that the couple’s romance might be back on track.
Over the festive season, Kyle and Annie happily posed with their four children – Roman, 12, Riaan, 8, Reign, 6, and Rezon, five months – as they celebrated the Christmas period in unity. Despite Kyle’s past infidelities, which resurfaced last December when Lauryn Goodman, a recent participant on Celebs Go Dating, informed Annie that Kyle was the father of her child Kinara, the pair chose to focus on the holidays.
Goodman had reached out to Annie on December 27, 2023, desiring the “decency” of a personal conversation and a willingness to talk, as Kyle had been misleading both women. After a temporary split, which saw the footballer leave their Prestbury home, Annie and Kyle have tried mending their marriage.

According to insiders, Annie didn’t only marry Kyle for love but also to “secure a financial windfall for herself and their children.”
Following the turmoil she’s faced during her relationship and marriage to Kyle, sources have told the Mirror that Annie had been seeking advice from fellow WAGs in Cheshire. However, just months earlier, the Mirror reported that the couple were optimistic about the future and were aiming to move past Kyle’s infidelity.
